FEU Cavite WRP Specialist as the Most Outstanding Sports Athlete

FEU Cavite WRP Specialist Mr. Jonathan B. Periabras was awarded the Most Outstanding Sports Athlete during the 5th Outstanding Kabataan Awards by the City Government of Imus Local Council for the Protection of Children Youth Affairs Office on November 19, 2021.

FEU Cavite Higher Education Department Chair of BSBA Accountancy and Business Administration Programs presented his paper to the 9th National Business and Management Conference.

Mr. Moses Manalang, Department Chair of FEU Cavite Higher Education BS Accountancy and Business Administration Programs, successfully presented his research paper entitled “Exploring Necessity Entrepreneurship in the Philippine” to the 9th National Business and Management Conference with the theme “Publish and Flourish: Strengthening Business Education through Research and Capacity-Building on November 20, 2021.

Mr. Manalang wrote about necessity entrepreneurs who are driven to enter into their own business out of need earn a modest living, and how they mobilize their resources. He also differentiated this type of entrepreneurs from opportunity entrepreneurs who engage in a business by choice.

FEU Cavite Higher Education Department team members got accepted as official participants to the “Innovations in Teaching and Learning on Industry 4.0 and Smart Nation.”

The program is a one-year engagement with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Nanyang Polytechnic International, Singapore (NYP), and Far Eastern University. It aims to develop key academic managers from Philippine Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and produce experts and key resource speakers who will cascade their learnings from the program to other Philippine institutions.

The participants already underwent a week-long training conducted by Nanyang Polytechnic International of Singapore (NYP) from November 8 to 12, 2021.

FEU Cavite Basic Education and Senior High School building won the “People’s Choice Award” in the Haligi ng Dangal 2020

FEU Cavite Basic Education and Senior High School building won the “People’s Choice Award” in the Haligi ng Dangal 2020.

With Ar. Daniel Lichauco of Archion Architects, the building resonated the Filipino design and architecture while promoting spaces for students of FEU Cavite that are excellent for learning.

Aside from providing well-ventilated and cozy architecture, and conveniently-sized rooms, the building inspired collaboration between architects to make enduring works that reflect what we value as Filipinos.

Psychology Faculty Presented Paper in PAP Convention

 

Higher Education Department’s (HED) Psychology faculty member, Erickson Amion, presented his paper entitled “Personality Traits, Quality of Life, and Self-Efficacy of Selected College Students” during the 54th Annual Convention of the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP) held in Bacolod City on September 20-22, 2017.

Three papers, including Amion’s study, were included in PAP’s Symposium #2 focusing on the general theme “Student’s Road to Success.” This symposium featured scholarly work dedicated in helping the students become successful. The presenters during this Symposium discussed how various identified/examined factors lead to students’ academic achievement; how teacher experiences and teaching methodologies help students learn better the concepts and theories of Social Psychology; and how students develop and understand themselves better.

Amion was accompanied by the Psychology Program Coordinator, Mae Ann Rose Pedrialva who represented FEU Cavite in the Convention and networked with PAP colleagues.
