FEU CONNECT or FEU – Community Networking to Nurture Education Coaching and Training is a series of webinars brought to you by FEU Manila and Cavite as part of FEU’s continuing commitment to deliver excellence in education. 

Its particular focus is the dissemination of four distinct features of the FEU teaching and learning philosophies to teachers, school administrators, school officials, guidance counselors, librarians, and parents. The features include
(1) Student-Centered Learning,
(2) The importance of using a scientific, evidence-based approach in all subjects,
(3) A teaching and administration approach characterized by the motto “firm but affirming,” and
(4) The importance of the development of Fortitude in students. Fortitude is one of the core values of FEU.

FEU Cavite Welcomes Tagaytay HuckDogs

Tagaytay HuckDogs held their Ultimate Frisbee exhibition game at the FEU Cavite Higher Education Open Field last June 26, 2019. Said team is part of the Tagaytay Ultimate Community which comprises of frisbee teams from different parts of Cavite. Four FEU Cavite alumni, namely, Charlene Luceros, Louis Miguel Ilustrisimo, Vince Maron Rafael Ilustrisimo, and Carl Andrew Cuenca are members of the team and played in the exhibition match along with 21 other players. The game lasted for one and a half hours.

The purpose of the said event is to introduce Ultimate Frisbee to the FEU Cavite community as a sport, learn how it is played, and possibly be included in the Physical Education curriculum of the university. The FEU Cavite alumni also wanted to bring enjoyment while serving back to their alma mater through this friendly exhibition game.

It was a great opportunity for the university to be hosting this game as it opened a door for other communities, teams, sports enthusiasts, and players. It created and widened relationships inside and outside the campus.
