Brigada Eskwela 2021

FEU Cavite is still actively doing its part to achieve the Department of Education’s mission to engage all education stakeholders to contribute time, efforts, and resources in ensuring that public schools are all set in time for class opening. Even this time of the pandemic, FEU Cavite showed its love and compassion by participating once again in Brigada Eskwela to help make sure that the partner school is safe and prepared for the school year.

This year, FEU Cavite turned over donations to Vicente P. Villanueva Memorial Elementary School in Sampaloc I, Dasmariñas, Cavite. Alcohol spray bottles, isopropyl alcohol, and total donations amounting to Php 20,000.00 were turned over including manpower and logistical needs of the school.

With the help of Vicente P. Villanueva Memorial Elementary School’s Principal II Ms. Marian M. Lomeda, Adopt-a-School Program Mr. Ser Voie O. Cadavedo, and SDRRM Coordinator Ms. Merille Claire Dorado, the students will benefit from the items given away that promote health and safety against the spread of COVID-19.

FEU Cavite’s participation in Brigada Eskwela 2021 is made possible through the efforts of Executive Director Dr. Myrna P. Quinto and Higher Education Dean Dr. Harold B. Bueno, and the initiative of the Community Extension and Advocacy Committee with the assistance of Student Affairs Office Head Ms. Jonnalyn Constante, the Registrar, Ms. Sarah Jane Lopez-Mirasol, Hospitality Management Department Chair Ms. Pamela Michelle Rivera and Laboratory Custodian Mr. Harris Solis, Department Chairs Administrative Assistant Ms. Aileen Magdaraog, and Facilities and Technical Services team members Mr. Mikhail Guiang and Mr. Juricko Parcon.
