Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (BSED) major in English
Description

The Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) program is a four-year degree program that prepares students to teach in the high school level. It is based on the set of National Competency Based Teacher Standards, which advocates a unified teacher training approach to develop holistic, competent and committed teachers. The curriculum consists of foundational general education knowledge and skills, professional education courses, theory and concepts courses, methods and strategies courses, and field study courses which provide the knowledge, skills and experiences needed in the field of education. After completion of the program, the graduates are ready to take the Licensure Examination for Teachers which qualify them to pursue the teaching profession in recognized educational institutions in the country.

Career Opportunities

The program aims to develop high school teachers who can teach in one of the different learning areas in high school like Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Biological Science, English, Filipino among others.

Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (BSHRM)

 Description

The Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (BSHRM) is a four-year degree program that will equip students with competencies related to the basic and core requirements as well as those associated with major and minor areas of concentration and elective courses.

 Career Opportunities

After completion of the program, the graduates can pursue a career in the tourism industry and/or hospitality sectors.

 Description

The Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) is a four-year degree program that focuses in raising the standard of tourism education by offering subjects in property management, food & beverage operations, events management, tourism planning & sustainable development, tourism marketing, tourism entrepreneurship, domestic and international tourism.

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA)

 Major in Financial Management (BSBA-FM)

 Description

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management (BSBA-FM) is a specialized program aims to prepare the students to possess a strong foundation on theory, principles and concepts, as well as analytical tools and perspectives that would provide a sound and competitive basis for financial decision making. The program requires a high level of dynamism and commitment from the students.  The students will work in depth in each course through proper balancing of finance theory and research literature with the practical aspects of financial management.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of this program can competitively start their career in general businesses, investment banking firms, broker-dealer firms, management consulting firms, various departments of commercial banks and other financial institutions, central banks and international financial institutions. Being a graduate, they can assume entry-level jobs as financial analyst, financial manager or executive in the business and financial industry.

 Description

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management (BSBA-MM) is a specialized course that will address the needs of the Marketing and Sales industry of the country. New emerging topics in brand, sales management, retailing, distribution, e-commerce, corporate social responsibility, information technology and franchising are some of the highlights of the revised Marketing Management program.

Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology (BSACTECH)

Description

The Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology (BSACTECH) program is a degree program that will enable the students to gain the rudiments of the study, design, development, implementation, support of accounting management systems and related systems.  The program will help students to gain experience and competency in accountancy including taxation, auditing, budgeting, and cost accounting, and eventually have the opportunity to advance to a specialist level. The BSAT program, albeit a non-board program, qualifies a graduate to perform the tasks of a professional accountant outside of the statutory audit services or those rendered by a CPA as required by law.  Effectively, the BSAT program serves as an acceptable ladder to the BSA program should the graduate later decide to pursue the BSA program to qualify for the CPA licensure examinations.

Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BSPsych)

 Description

The Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BSPsych) is a four-year degree course that includes a broad coverage of the conceptual and empirical foundations of Psychology in its main fields. The discussion of the theories, concepts and empirical findings focuses on complex human behavior: how and why we think, feel and behave the way we do, how we interact with others, and why and how we become the unique individuals that we are.

Career Opportunities

A bachelor’s degree in psychology is the foundation for a wide range of Psychology jobs, yet many psychology majors do not actually pursue careers in psychology.
